I am a multimedia journalist, photographer and videographer based in Asia-Pacific. With more than a decade of world news experience, I have reported from many fragile and developing countries.

Specialising in humanitarian emergencies and global development, I showcase people’s voices to tell compelling stories. I tackle complex issues with compassion, raising awareness of forced migration and the global refugee crisis, the impacts of climate change and survival in the wake of disasters and conflict. I passionately promote the rights of women, children, the indigenous and the marginalised.

With cross-platform expertise, I have filed written dispatches, images and footage for numerous leading media outlets, such as: BBC, CNN, ABC, ITV, Washington Post, Guardian, Daily Telegraph, Vice News and Mail Online. I am also regularly commissioned by various INGOs.

My images have been awarded honourable mentions in both the 2016 and 2017 International Photography Awards. I also gather and edit video, and travel with a full AV kit. Plus am experienced in field production with broadcast teams and agencies.

My recent deployments include the Rohingya crisis in Bangladesh, Vanuatu volcano evacuations, the Ebola outbreak in Sierra Leone and the European refugee crisis.

In addition, I cover travel and events, such as destination features and hotel reviews.

I will happily discuss any commissions and short-notice assignments. Please do get in touch!
