I am a multimedia journalist, photographer and videographer with twelve years of world news experience.
Specialising in humanitarian emergencies and global development, I report on complex issues with compassion, raising awareness of the global refugee crisis, the impacts of climate change and survival in the wake of disasters. My recent deployments include the Indonesian earthquake, Rohingya crisis, Vanuatu volcano evacuations, Ebola outbreak and refugees in the Mediterranean.
I showcase unheard voices to tell compelling stories, passionately promoting the rights of women, children, the indigenous and the marginalised. From tribal traditions in Papua New Guinea to adventures in the Amazon, I also cover lifestyle and travel features such as destination guides, hotel reviews and cultural events.
With cross-platform expertise, I have filed written dispatches, photos, and footage for leading media outlets including BBC, CNN, ABC, ITV, Washington Post, Guardian, Daily Telegraph, Vice News and Mail Online.
I am also regularly commissioned for content gathering assignments for INGOs such as Care International, Plan International, Action Against Hunger and the United Nations.
My images have been awarded a silver medal in the Prix de la Photographie 2017 and six honorable mentions in the 2016, 2017 and 2018 International Photography Awards. I am also a winner of the Magenta Flash Forward Emerging Photographers Competition 2018, and as a result my photos of the Rohingya crisis are published in a book launching soon.
Based in London, I will happily discuss commissions and short-notice assignments anywhere in the world. Please do get in touch!
